有案底还能过criminal background check吗？

did some checking it will actully show up in background checks. "not guilty by reason of insanity" actually is not "not guilty".
so it doesn't look good for the kid.

a nolle won't show up in a regular background check but it will show up in FBI background check (for an example, global entry)
