The Chinese are neither impulsive or stupid. China needs to take certain actions before any invasion. The two most important are 1) reduce holdings of US treasuries and US and western assets (this cannot be done quickly) 2) increase the size of its nuclear deterrence to ensure the US does not escalate to nuclear war (this will also take some time). China is busy working on these and the US is trying to bring on conflict before China is ready. I doubt very much that China will fall for this trap. Besides, time is on China's side. The US economy is deteriorating, and depending on how badly, it may make solving the Taiwan issue possible without war.

You are forgetting two things. China doesn't work on short American time frames. Two and a half years is nothing to them. Second, unlike Ukraine, Taiwan is an island and can be crippled with a blockade without having to fire a shot. Regarding Ukraine, I don't think the strategy is going to work out the way you present it. The sanctions are killing the Europeans and enriching Putin, along with strengthening the BRIC pact.

中国既然以美国为敌，那就本来就不是美国的盟邦，美国又有什么失去不失去中国的？

现在外债都不是大问题了，主要是军事准备，和美国的脱钩。

中国每次都要美帝提醒，敌我矛盾不可忘记。
