Jumped cricket iphone11-64G $50 deal during Christmas and need to port my existing cricket number out somewhere.
If porting to GV directly, there is a $20 fee charged by google. If cricket-> google fi-> GV, then there is no fee.
1. setup google fi account (need google fi sim) and provide cricket port out info. ( call 611 to get transfer PIN, this is NOT your account PIN). also need account number, Billing address, email and owner name from cricket.
2. porting is very quick, after 15 min, I can see number transferred to google fi.
3. Choose leave google fi the same day to avoid charge, there is an option to port number to GV. about 24 hours later, received email from google fi that porting to GV is complete.
I have a primary number on GV and 2nd number on cricket. In order to jump this deal, have to port GV into cricket and cricket back to GV.
