Apple hiring process问题

上上个礼拜五Apple 软工职位 virtual onsite, 见了七个人, 感觉都很好, 上个礼拜二 recruiter 给我发了个电邮, 说things went pretty well, 问我
啥时可以上班, 我回了说需要给现在公司两个礼拜交接, 问20天是否可以, 再没回音, 昨天给recruiter发了一封电邮, 问是否可以给个status update
还是没回音.
我知道苹果hiring process可能时间比较长, recruiter不给回应还是比较奇怪, 估计打她电话也没辙, 只能耐心等下去吗?

跟hiring manager(大多是技术问题)聊完后, 有一个大概45分钟的另外一个tech, 如果上面两轮都很好, 最后是virtual on-site Webex 见多人

我也在8月初面试的apple的软工，三周后给我feedback说挺正面的， 不过都一个多月了， 也没有个正式的答复， 确实感到挺奇怪的。

我是virtual onsite, 面试完，没有什么人来跟我谈。

这个是正规程序。能到这一层，才是胜算～ 50% +。
不过，这个应该在第二轮/或者第三轮physical onsite.
但是VP这个级别的appointment很难schedule，也许OP的问题出在这个上面。

我觉得是recuiter忘记发据信，没有理由想要招人，却让应聘的人等一个多月。

我觉得就不要多想了，如果一家公司要给你offer, recruiter比你还要着急。
如果recuiter不联系你， 就当没这回事吧。 但实在想要个结果，打个电话也不会把该给的offer变没。

"Things are looking pretty good. When can you start if we get the go ahead?" 我以为戏很大, 我回了
说要给现在的公司两个礼拜的交接, 大概20天如何? 一直没回音, 大概一个多礼拜后, 没回音, 我给她
发了一个电邮问是否有update, 大概过了一个礼拜后, 她跟我回
“It looks like things are taking a long time. I am not sure if things will work out anytime soon. I will keep you posted at anything new I hear.
Thank you for your time and interest!”
我继续等, 快到第三个礼拜, 实在受不了, 拨了她的电话问是否会有offer, 她说她还没收到消息, 告诉我可以Move on.
Darn, 看来只能放弃幻想, 另找机会了 .

已经忘了，接了GoPro的offer，申请的是Sr, 面试后给了个principle, remote, 不用搬家， 从了

我等一个500强的公司offer能拖上2个月，没有onsite,全是zoom.最后还是给offer了。现在大公司就是这样的效率。唉。

这才是job market的实际情况，和新闻/股市大喊的“we are hiring"的就业市场完全两回事，
前者才是economic, inflation变好的real indicator
后者是劳动密集型的服务行业，餐饮业，完全不能作为宏观经济的指针。
