很美的岩石和露营地

这岩石的样子像国内西北的火焰山、祁连山，都像火焰一样。
记得在洛杉矶的哪个海滩也见过类似的岩石。还有death valley里有一块彩色岩石，刚找了一下，叫Artists Palette。

是的，死亡谷也有彩色岩石，两个不一样的地方是，这个是分层的，死亡谷那个是在岩石的面上。

These colors are from volcanic deposits rich in compounds such as iron oxides and chlorite, which creates a rainbow effect.

These colors are caused by the oxidation of different metals found in the rock formations. Iron compounds produce red, pink and yellow And the decomposition of tuff-derived mica produces the green, and manganese minerals produce a lavender purple.

差点去了。当时从大峡谷再往前走就是death valley。还是没勇气走。
那一年五月走valley of fire, Seldona, 凤凰城。五月把人热死。手机出一出车就死机。住hotel不敢出门。
所以我这一辈子最不可能住的三个州， Arizona， Nevada, 和 New Mexico

手机还能热死啊……想起以前在西藏玩，在扎什伦布寺正好碰到彭丽媛，可拍完合影后相机镜头缩不回去了。拿到拉萨八角街的相机店去修，店里师傅说很多电子相机有高原反应，镜头要么打不开，要么缩不回去
