“ I have a 2023 Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition AWD and it has been making a small but noticeable clicking/rattling noise (especially on curvy roads) from the second row passenger seat from Day 1. After putting up with it for several months, I decided to try to have it repaired given noise issues are only covered under warranty for 1 year from my understanding. In my first two visits, the dealership would send me away by saying it was either a water bottle or umbrella that was left in the car that was making the noise. After I removed every item and took the repair manager on for a ride, he admitted that he heard the noise (although he was trying to say it was normal plastic seat sound at the beginning). He and his guys said it was probably from the 2nd row side airbag, and had to be looked by the "field/regional tech" at a later time. So it was some more waiting and finally brought it in this Jan. They contacted me a couple of times saying that they needed to order parts. After about a week, now they are telling me that they have tried everything they could (including replacing some trim, insulating wires, etc.), they can still hear a noise coming from the seat, but they are not sure if it is the same noise.

Now the interesting part is how they are dealing with it. They compared it to a similar Sienna van (XLE), and claim that they heard the same noise (which I highly suspect), and b/c the same noise is heard on a similar vehicle, they are now telling me the noise to my Sienna is normal - which means, that is how the car is designed, and no more repairs will be made to my vehicle for this issue. I specifically asked the manager questions like "are you saying the Sienna is designed to make such a noise?", "if you also hear the noise in the other vehicle, instead of calling it normal, isn't it a design/production issue?". But the manager was not interested in continuing to resolve my issue, but was basically repeating his words that they think it is normal and I would just have to pick it up and put up with it.”

同样档次的菜车，做那么长的滑轨，不可能没有公差，座椅在里面晃荡共振，同样成本前提下，越是这种实用的设计，比如滑动门，反效果就是NVH品质的恶化。这种设计如果想要做到豪华车的乘坐品质，价格只会更高。

sienna的后保险杠很容易烂掉，需要平均每5年更换新的

这种图都是骗人的吧。 第三代十年才换代， 这第四代卖的这么好， 不可能很快换的， 而且一般换前有一次facelift 。 估计至少2028以后换代了。

的确奇怪， 在国内MPV 选择那么多， 而且国内的丰田比美国的是剪版的材料。
