While I have no direct evidence, my instinct—based on years of research, reading, and experience—leads me to believe that this kind of behavior may have a genetic component. This is not scientifically proven, but science continues to evolve, and we are learning more every day.

I wanted to be completely honest and transparent with you. I believe that radical transparency builds trust and is essential for true inclusion. I’ve recently shared these thoughts with others, but not yet with you, because I didn’t feel emotionally ready at the time.
