That's a huge distinction, this was a unilateral action by Israel on an ally of the US, which Trump said will never happen again. This is the first time the Trump administration has condemned an Israeli attack iirc. Israel is going all out because they're so desperate knowing it's over for them after the Gaza war. They keep subverting Trump's own peace efforts because of that.
