I just bought 100 shares of HIMS, please, people, go to short the share to 35.

I am testing an extreme example, using the premium of covered calls to generate 50% return

It very likely goes down to around 40.

I will buy some if it goes to 40, Last time I sold some put when it went to 41-42.

That was wise

I bought 100 shares when share price was on 54. I then immediately sold leap covered calls with expiration on June 18, 2026, with premium at 16.3 per contract that 32% of return of the investment.

I know the share price is going down. but, I want to test if I can buy back the covered calls when the share price drops to below 40. When the share price goes back to 50, I will sell another leap covered calls. If I can do this twice, I can get 50% of return of the investment. Plus, other puts and calls, it can earn up to 100% return.

I will see how many times I can sell leap covered calls in a year.

Update: bought 50 long puts with expiration on Oct 24, 2025.
