conservatives need a vertical hierarchy, so does CCP.
they need a supreme leader, so does CCP.
they have loyal red guards, so does CCP
they are motivated by fears, state enemy, socialism, women's power, LGBT, etc. so does CCP.
Liberals, as the name suggests, don't do that. instead, everyone is an equal member, entitled to their own opinion.
