把pfSense装到Proxmox的好处和风险

好处是：省资源，原来用很多个pi做不同的功能，现在用不同的lxc在proxmox里面做，省电，省时间。不用搞一套cross platform的工具。
风险是：一旦pfSense出状况，轻的restore backup, 重的断网一阵子。如果是proxmox出状况，天晓得要多久才能上网。

旧的路由器可以顶一阵，但settings可能跟pfSense不同步。总的来说，很方便，但担心backup跟不上。support的技术含量不低。

Having DHCP bundled with pfSense is convenient when things are running. After you recover from power outage and realize ISP is not up, it would be confusing the least when pfSense trying to obtain IP before DHCP starts working. I haven't run into issues related to Proxmox yet. It think it could happen, especially when you update or upgrade Proxmox. It is good that Proxmox gives you a unified interface for all your programs. It can be catastrophic when Proxmox stops working the way you expect.
