yes. It is the best if you buy at the lowest share price.
But, if you believe SPY has 15% more room to run in 2025, you can buy leap calls now. You may get 40% return.
For any index fund, you can buy at any time if you believe it is a bull market.
SPY is too expensive. i dont have that much money to buy 200 shares, so leap calls + sales of short time short call are the best strategy in a bull market

April was obviously a good time to buy. I bought some NVDA, SPY, SPMO, VRT, CLS, IGV.
because it is a run-away bull market, this is again a good time to buy
I will buy SPY leap call and NVDA leap calls again.

不买 < 买spy < 买qqq < 买mag7 < 买meta/nvda， 还是不建议买option，因为2 年的回调会杀死你。
