"Tesla asks court to throw out fatal crash verdict"
Actually, it is very simple. If Tesla's self-driving software undoubtedly went wrong and caused the fatal accident, then there is nothing more to debate. But I suspect that all about software is deliberately designed "round with corners" so that the company can have an escape mode from responsibility. And we all know how things are going here and that this is not an isolated case. Now, frankly, I wonder if they will pull out of this mess and throw a ball at the car owner or driver.
One thing is sure, whatever decision the court makes it won't be good for Elon, since either "the car" is unreliable or he will have a market response to Tesla cars advertising false safety that actually don't work except in cases the driver can not determine.
