挑几个例子看看,各行各业的抱怨都有。看来大家都有点受不了。
I work in auto sales - Volume dealership, we're down close to 40% from 24 months ago. The past 120 days have been the most noticeable, no one is buying a car unless they need to and we are starting to see the "trying to lower my payment" crowd.
$50 with tip for breakfast for 2 today. Not a resort or hotel location, just a couple of omelets at a typical breakfast place. If something isn’t a value, people turn off the spending faucet. Value is getting kind of scarce lately.
My household entered recession in August, 2023, with the loss of my wife’s job. Then, in December of that same year, I lost my job. We both found new work in Q1 2024, but at a 30% pay cut for the household. We are back to the wages, in real dollars, we were making in 2018. In inflationary dollars, my spouse and I are at back the level of income we had about 5 years out of college-in 2003.
I run a restaurant in San Diego. Sales are down at least 20 percent over last year. Some items are on back order or not available, and food costs are insane. Things are not going well
I cancelled every single one of my subscriptions. The price increases are drastic. I have a backlog of movies, video games and books that I’ll be completing.
I broke a tooth, and have to decide to pay the cost of extraction or just let what’s left stay, and hope pain doesn’t show up anytime soon (it was an old cap placed on a tooth long ago.)
